very fun little book

I bought this book, just because I was interested in learning a little Jamaican partois. This book includes a lot of common expressions or words. Throughout the book, you see the deep humor many Jamaicans have. The cartoons are so enjoyable and funny. Livingston Mclaren is a great illustrator. This book will definitely not teach you the language! But, it is quite fun to read and will give you more incite into the language of Jamaicans.

I feel Jamacaican, Man.

This book really helps teach you a Jamaican dialect. You will not sound like the rest of north america in trying to pull off a weak dialect that you saw on "cool runnings". It really helped me. Get this book, even just to have. cheap too!!
