I couldn't put the series down!

Although this review is for the full volume of Jack's story, I originally read each novella separately; picking the first one up on a whim because...aaaand no surprises here...I saw the three words-- Boys of Porn-- seductively flashing the subliminally hypnotic words...'COME TO ME'...like a shiny neon sign, … so couldn't resist taking the plunge into A.M Snead’s ‘Cockyboy’s’ inspired universe to see if it was as good as it sounded. Let's just say within five minutes of starting it, I was back on Amazon purchasing the next two, and ended up reading all three back to back! I couldn't put the series down...which makes buying this volume with all three books under one cover, an absolute no brainer!
Sex, drama, emotional angst and beautiful hot boys! If you're a m/m romance fan, what's not to love in that combo. The main love story is between newbie to the studio, sweet natured, endearing Jack Heart and cocky but emotionally skittish, 'veteran' porn star Garrett North, who spark and make magic on screen together from the instant they do their first scene on camera, but after their initial magnetic attraction begins to morph into something more meaningful, find the road to love far from smooth. Both of them dealing with trauma from their pasts. Jack's a more recent sadness, but Garret's more deeply seated.
Misunderstanding and a misguided sense of betrayal blocks their path at every turn, entwined with a secondary twisty, turny, suspense style mystery unfolding in the background, incorporating obsession, secrets, lies and manipulation. A thread left hanging at the conclusion of Jack and Garrets romance in a delicious 'to be continued’ finale that has me dying now for the next episode to arrive. I'm hooked!
I loved A.M's vision for this particular porn studio. It's filled with diverse, entertaining, sexy characters who will either have you falling madly in love with them the moment they appear on page, or in a complete turnaround, when it comes to the slimy bad guys, will have you boo hissing like a kid at a pantomime! The palpable sense of family, and camaraderie, between all the members of the studio and the owner Gideon Dodd...who as we get to learn more about him, has his own conflicts to bear but really cares for his boys...jumps out at you and grabs you into the intriguing dynamics between all the books cast that makes this the entertaining read it is.
Jack and Garret…Gideon and his probable love interest,strip club owner Daniel......Lucas and the man who holds his heart: EMT and part time porn star Bailey...Derek, Chase, poor broken Scotty...even Pratt, the skeevy camera man...they all helped me blissfully shut real life away during my marathon reading session.
Not forgetting the beautiful, blonde bombshell 'Twins'...Marcus and Mickey. OH MY GOODNESS!!! SEXORABLE!!!! Okay, I made that up, lol, but they are adorably sexy and yes they deserve the multiple exclamation marks. Holy hotness! The book is sizzling to begin with, but get ready to turn the air con even higher when those two are around. A couple who are sweet, caring and gentle, with an air of innocence that belies just how hot they really are. Whether they're starring in a porn scene with their co stars or just offering sex as a comfort to whoever is hurting emotionally, they’re off the charts sexual. Everybody loves the 'twins' (they're not really related BTW), and when you read this you'll find out exactly why...because they pretty much steal the show. *Sigh*
In terms of entertainment value and pure escapism, Ms Snead's appealing writing style and the lure of her gorgeous boys will certainly satisfy the majority of m/m romance fans out there! The porn boys are beautiful, the bad guys are suitably nasty, the storyline is filled with the sort of conflict and emotionally lead drama that entices you in and keeps you glued, and the porn sex scenes and more romantic love scenes are hotter than the fires of Hades! The sex is plentiful as the setting promises, but it never gets stale! Oh no! it’s imaginative, highly sensual and definitely gives the tingles.
To be honest, I'm not usually into the sort of dramatic misunderstandings caused by the MC's 'perceiving', assuming, then not talking their frustrations out but I have to say in this authors hands it works and quite simply I inhaled it. You can feel that A.M. Snead cherishes her boys with a real passion. Great storytelling; I loved it… It’s official… I've been BOP’d!

The story of Jack is interesting and the life of a porn star is shown to be hard. Having a relationship is hard enough, but when you are both porn stars it is harder. The life of Jack up bringing is all to true of so many young gay men and to find some one who loves you for who you are is amazing. The fact that he had a twin sister who died and still encourages him adds a different aspect to this series. The sex scenes are hot, but it is the sories of all the boys that make this a great book. Look forward to the next book.

What a great series! I fell in love with Jack right from the beginning. This book had me laughing and crying. Jacks daily heart from his sister and his talks to her are so precious. His love for Garrett at times heartbreaking. These boys are all so endearing I love them all! And those beautiful twins.This story takes you into the world of the making of porn movies based on "Cocky Boys". I sure hope there is more to this series, I need more of these guys like now! One-click, you will not be disappointed!
